The Street Twin Triumph in fact is designed with a single bracket that holds both the front headlight and the instrumentation. If you wish to modify the headlight mount with something more minimalist you will then have to use a mount such as this one from Motone to hold the speedometer securely to the bike.
The headlight mount for Triumph of motone is made of reinforced die-cast aluminum so as not to transmit vibration to the engine and maintain a correct speed reading.
