K&N filters are designed to increase performance, that is, the flow of air to the engine, while providing adequate filtering capacity to safeguard the engine itself. This filter is washable and reusable countless times, so it does not need to be changed at regular intervals like the original paper filter. For cleaning and flushing please refer directly to the K&N website. This filter is exactly the same shape as the original one so you simply remove the old filter and replace it with the K&N one. Compatible with the airbox on Bonneville models/Thruxton/Scrambler both carbureted and fuel-injected.
