Royal Enfield HNTR 350 Custom by Cafe Twin
A smart base, targeted modifications, clear result.
The Royal Enfield HNTR 350 is one of the most interesting platforms for a âsmartâ custom project: itâs compact, lightweight, well-balanced and, above all, lends itself well to targeted modifications without resulting in long or invasive work.
In the workshop we worked on a HNTR with a clear goal: to give it a cleaner, more aggressive and more personal look, while keeping the bike practical for everyday use. No show bike: a real motorcycle, ready to rack up the miles.
The concept: lighten and define
The stock HNTR has good proportions, but some elements make it look more âstandardâ than it could be. Our work focused on three areas:
- Front end (visual impact and stance)
- Rear end (compactness and clean lines)
- Details (character without excess)
Result: a more compact bike, with a sharper line and a clear identity.
HNTR 350 High Fender

The high fender immediately transforms the front end: the front wheel becomes more of a focal point and the overall look takes on a more dynamic attitude. Itâs one of those upgrades that really changes the overall character without requiring invasive work.

Rocker Bar-End Mirror Kit

We installed the Rocker bar-end mirrors with dedicated Royal Enfield adapters: a clean, stable fit with no makeshift solutions. The handlebar looks visually âlighterâ and the bike appears more compact.
- Cleaner upper line
- Lower, sportier profile
- Better visual balance between front and rear

HNTR 350 Short Tail Tidy

The stock rear end is functional, but visually long. With the short tail tidy the bike changes proportions: the rear becomes more minimal, shorter, more assertive. This is probably the modification that has the greatest impact on the overall look, making the lines consistent with the front end.

Union Jack Oil Filter Cover Cap

A small but effective detail: the Union Jack cover cap adds a distinctive touch without being over the top. It's the kind of component that completes the build without stealing the spotlight.

Heidenau K60 Scout Tyres
To finish off the build, we replaced the tyres with Heidenau K60 Scout. This is a choice that changes both the look and the feel on the road: a tougher appearance, a more pronounced sidewall, and a visual footprint that works well with the high mudguard and shortened rear end.
In practice: the bike feels more planted, more ready, less "stock". Exactly the direction we wanted.
The result
This HNTR 350 is more compact, cleaner, more defined. We haven't changed the nature of the bike: we've worked on the right areas to make it look (and feel) different with practical and repeatable modifications.
- Configuration suitable for everyday use
- Targeted, consistent modifications
- Immediate visual impact without altering the base

If you have an HNTR 350 and want to give it more character without making things complicated, this is a solid place to start.
