The BMC performance air filter in oiled cotton is designed to replace the original air filter in the airbox, providing a significant increase in airflow to the engine compared to traditional paper or foam filters. Thanks to its multilayer technology and low-viscosity oil treatment, the BMC filter captures particles as small as 7 microns (certified to international ISO 5011 standard), offering better engine protection than OEM filters, which filter down to 10 microns.

The “Full Moulding” production process creates the filter’s signature red body in a single mold, without gluing that could lead to breakage. The special rubber used is deformation-resistant and fits the airbox perfectly, ensuring an optimal seal over time.

The aluminum mesh structures enclosing the filter material are coated with epoxy resin, protecting the filter from oxidation caused by fuel and moisture. Additionally, BMC air filters are washable and reusable with the dedicated cleaning kit, offering substantial savings by eliminating the need for frequent replacements.
