Cafe Twin unveils the kit that turns the Royal Enfield HNTR 350 into a scrambler

The Rome-based custom shop specialising in British motorcycles has produced a “plug & play” accessory kit capable of radically changing the look of the small Royal Enfield roadster. Here are the details and prices

Hunter 350 Custom Cafe Twin

Completely transforming the look of your motorcycle, making it unique and different from the original in just a few steps, is the dream of every special bike enthusiast. Because anyone who has decided to start customising a motorcycle knows how much time, money and effort are needed before achieving the desired result. Today, however, things are much easier than they used to be. In fact, the biggest and most famous custom shops in the world have launched what is, in every respect, a real trend: plug&play kits dedicated to specific models. A set of accessories that are easy to fit, homologated and do not require irreversible modifications, leaving you free to restore the motorcycle to its original condition at any time.

Joining the list of custom shops that have started experimenting with this trend is Cafe Twin, long specialised in English modern classics, which has decided to launch a kit dedicated to the Royal Enfield HNTR 350.

The bike

Royal Enfield HNTR 350 is a groundbreaking model in the history of the Indo-British brand: it remains a motorcycle with lines that nod to vintage styling but, unlike the various Interceptor, Continental GT and Himalayan models, which have a classic look, it brings a modern look to the table. It is the company’s true modern classic, which together with Meteor 350 and Classic 350 introduced a new platform. The HNTR 350 in fact features an all-new steel twin-downtube frame paired with a 349 cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The chassis is also all-new: a 41 mm telescopic fork and a pair of rear shock absorbers with 6-position preload adjustment. Completing the specification is the braking system, which acts on the pair of 17” wheels with a 300 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc. A lightweight, easy-going motorcycle but with “big-bike” style, to inspire even those taking their first steps into the world of motorcycling.

The Royal Enfield HNTR 350 has become the perfect base for Cafe Twin to experiment with a new type of customisation: no revolution, but rather a skilful remix of the ingredients to take this motorcycle beyond its pre-set boundaries, turning it into a fun and agile scrambler.

The kit

To change the look, and also a little of the soul, of the HNTR 350, the customisers at Cafe Twin relied on the extensive catalogue of special parts that has been part of their workshop for years, without giving up a touch of craftsmanship. The original indicators were replaced with a pair of Micro Flash turn signals, the handlebar is a Biltwell Cross, while the front mudguard and tail tidy with number plate holder on the #0 example created by Cafe Twin are handcrafted, but in the HNTR 350 conversion kit they are replaced by homologated accessories by MK Design. The slim seat is also a one-off, while for the tyres they decided to think big by fitting Heideanu K60s.

A few but carefully considered choices that transform the Royal Enfield HNTR 350 from an agile urban roadster into a scrambler with huge fun potential and within everyone’s reach.
