BMC sports air filter in oiled cotton gauze, panel type, designed to replace the original air filter in the airbox of Triumph motorcycles. Made from high-performance materials, it allows increased airflow to the engine compared with paper or foam filters, while at the same time ensuring superior filtration efficiency.
Thanks to its multi-layer structure in oil-soaked cotton, the filter traps impurities down to 7 microns, meeting ISO 5011 international filtration standards. Original paper filters, on the other hand, filter down to a minimum of 10 microns. The Full Moulding production process ensures a single-piece body with no glued corners, preventing breakage and improving long-term durability. The special rubber used retains its shape and guarantees a perfect seal with the airbox.
The filter consists of multi-layer cotton fabric enclosed between two aluminium mesh screens treated with epoxy resin, which protect against oxidation caused by moisture and fuel vapours. It is washable and regenerable using the specific BMC cleaning kit, offering savings on periodic replacements and greater environmental sustainability.
