Fitting the adapters
The adapters included in the kit are supplied with a universal expansion system, normally designed for Handlebars cables. However, on Moto Guzzi V7 and V9 the original handlebar is equipped with an internal thread used for securing the standard bar end weights.
For correct installation, proceed as follows:
- Unscrew and remove the part with the expander present on the adapter.
- After removing the expander, the central screw of the adapter will remain.
- The screw must be screwed directly into the internal thread of the original Moto Guzzi handlebar.
- In this way, the adapter utilises the existing threaded mount in the handlebar, ensuring a stable, secure fit with no modifications.
