Royal Enfield Meteor 350: the custom bike we were missing arrives at Cafe Twin!
20 hp single-cylinder with classic styling and modern technology: the Meteor 350 opens up a new frontier in the custom segment
After making a very brief appearance at Via Mesula 12, the brand new
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is arriving to stay, or rather, to head to the homes of the many riders waiting for it.
Yes, because this small classic-custom was one of the most eagerly awaited new models of 2021, and the reason is clear: it’s the bike that was missing!
The custom bike for everyone
In a segment like the custom and cruiser market, where bikes are heavy, large-capacity and mostly aimed at experienced hands, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 changes the paradigm:
it’s easy, designed for everyone (from new licence holders to commuters and returning riders). A result achieved through the teamwork of
Royal Enfield, which virtually (given the times) brought together the teams from its two technical centres in Chennai (India) and Bruntingthorpe (UK) to create a model that, in keeping with tradition, had a name inspired by the past (the first Meteor dates back to 1952) while managing to combine classic lines with modern details, without giving up the unmistakable style that every Royal Enfield has in its DNA.
A 20-litre teardrop tank, pronounced mudguards, a generously sized seat with the inevitable sissy bar and spoked wheels make it a custom bike for today that doesn’t give up the styling cues which, having started in the United States, became the bible of the genre.

EasyRiding
The secret that makes the Meteor 350 a unique bike in today’s market lies in its performance: the bike is in fact equipped with a
349 cc single-cylinder with electronic fuel injection, a 5-speed gearbox and 7-plate clutch (for smooth, gentle gear changes even in traffic), capable of delivering
20.5 hp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
Figures that won’t intimidate even less experienced riders, but which make it possible to enjoy your travelling companion to the full. Its long-stroke design and mixed air/oil cooling are traits it shares with other Royal Enfield engines, while the balancer shaft makes the engine smooth and vibrations practically absent, without however neglecting the sound, a central aspect of every
“Made like a gun” motorcycle.
Like every self-respecting classic, the Meteor 350 also has a steel twin-downtube frame, but pairs it with suspension worthy of a bigger bike: 41 mm telescopic fork with 130 mm of travel and twin hydraulic shock absorbers with spring preload adjustment. A setup that promises agility in town but also a certain amount of support when bends give way to the traffic lights of the metropolis. Braking is handled by a pair of single discs measuring 300 and 270 mm with dual-channel ABS.
It’s for everyone in terms of dimensions too:
the seat is 765 mm from the ground it makes it a bike for riders of all sizes, with ergonomics that enhance the position of the forward-set foot pegs and the raised handlebar, yet the weight is kept down to 191 kg dry. In short, a “
light” custom.
A Hi-Tech classic
The secret of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 also lies, above all, at the controls: the instrumentation features a twin-cluster layout combining analogue and digital, and above all introduces
Tripper technology, which allows the bike to be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth and provides
Turn-by-Turn navigation displayed on the dedicated screen. There is also a USB socket for charging your phone. But its modernity is also evident in its look, as the front headlight blends the vintage feel of a halogen lamp with the modern signature of LED DRL.
A Meteor for everyone
This model, like all Royal Enfield bikes, offers a wide choice of accessories, but what makes it infinitely customisable is also the option to choose from
3 versions and 7 different colours.
The
Fireball, with a single-colour red or yellow tank and matching wheel finish, is the most essential version, adding a dark touch to the engine and exhaust finishes, and costs
4,099 euro.
The
Stellar, on the other hand, is available in red, blue or matt black and features colour-matched side panels and the logo badge on the tank. Chrome details on the handlebar and exhaust are not missing, and it also comes standard with a passenger backrest. Prices start from
4,189 euro.
The
Supernova, meanwhile, is the top-of-the-range model in the family: a two-tone blue or brown livery, machined wheels, premium seats and a windscreen make it the most exclusive among the small customs.
The price starts from
4,279 euro.

Exclusivity and style have never been so accessible — we look forward to welcoming you to Cafe Twin so you can see it for yourself!
